Sports Clubs
What it is:
Physical Education is an integral part of your child’s school curriculum. Regular sporting and health-related physical activities are fundamental in encouraging them to strive for a healthy, active and successful future. Physical Education and competitive sport builds character and confidence, embeds values such as fairness and respect, and is strongly linked to better academic performance. Therefore, we actively encourage all students to partake in at least one of our extra-curricular sports clubs.
It is our priority that all students at TA engage in some form of physical activity beyond curriculum lessons. We provide extra curricular opportunities, which includes many house competitions, recreational activities and a diverse range of inter-school competitive sports which are supported by top-class coaches. We recognise the difference between all of our students and provide a variety of activities that are best suited to the students’ desired outcomes for participating. At the start of each cycle, the opportunities on offer will be sent to you and we would be grateful if you could encourage your child to attend at least one of them.
